For the 6th year in a row, BNP Paribas has been named by the Canadian publication "Corporate Knights" as one of the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporation. Looking at the 427 banks across the globe that have been evaluated, BNP Paribas is ranked 1st in France, 2nd in Europe and 3rd globally. Overall BNP Paribas is ranked 31st most sustainable corporation in the world.

As part of the 2020 rankings, this achievement reflects BNP Paribas' efforts in terms of social responsibility (including health and safety, pensions, gender parity in the board of directors, integration of ESG factors as part of the compensation of management ...) as well as the continuous leadership in sustainable financial products. 

The Corporate Kinghts' Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporation ranking has been published since 2005 and aims at promoting the 100 global companies supporting sustainability initiatives. In 2020, a total of 7,395 listed companies with operating income in excess of $1bn have been analyzed and ranked using 21 key performance indicators. 

This distinction is yet another testimony of BNP Paribas' efforts to promote sustainability at the heart of its business.
