2019 BNP Paribas Global Prize for Women Entrepreneurs

Myriam MAESTRONI, CEO of Economie d’Energie awarded the 2019 ‘BNP Paribas Global Prize for Women Entrepreneurs' at the 67th FCEM World Congress in Lima, Peru.

BNP Paribas Wealth Management, with the support of the global women entrepreneur network FCEM (Femmes Chefs d'Entreprises Mondiales) awarded Myriam Maestroni from France. The French CEO and Founder of Economie d'Energie was selected out of 30 outstanding international candidates from 17 countries. The jury, composed of international business women, based their evaluation on four criteria: business performance, positive impact, disruptive innovation and personal commitment.  

WHAT CONVINCED THE INTERNATIONAL JURY? 

1. BUSINESS GROWTH

Myriam Maestroni created Economie d'Energie in 2011 to provide energy efficient solutions for individuals and businesses. Her turnover reached €86M in 2018 and today she employs over 250 people.

2. DISRUPTIVE INNOVATION

Economie d'Energie has always remained true to its commitment to change behavior when it comes to saving energy. The company has achieved this by creating digital platforms and programs to make available and facilitate energy renovation for all individuals as well as businesses. 700.000 energy renovation projects have already been completed in France.

3. POSITIVE IMPACT

On a daily basis, Myriam Maestroni works for a better energy transition, communicates on the simple gestures of everyday life to save energy and advocates making energy renovation for everyone. The carbon footprint savings already realized is equivalent to a forest of 6 million trees!

4. PERSONAL COMMITMENT

Myriam Maestroni is involved in improving sustainability through management and leadership. She is also committed to gender equality, diversity and youth employment. She is the President of the think-tank E5T dedicated to the environmental transition with a presence in France, Spain, Tunisia and now China! She is committed to build a better world through the development of her business and her philanthropic actions.
