Eléonore Bedel - Head of SRI & Impact Investing - BNP Paribas Wealth Management
Eleonore Bedel joined BNP Paribas Wealth Management as head of Sustainable and Responsible Investing & Impact Investing 6.5 years ago, where she develops the offering for all clients. She is also very active in raising awareness of both subjects internally and amongst clients.
Prior to that Eleonore worked in the organization department and then in the Strategy and Business Development team for the Investment Solutions division of BNP Paribas, regrouping 5 business lines: Wealth Management, Asset Management, Insurance, Securities Services and Real Estate. During this period (2005 – 2011), she worked on several different projects and founded the Group SRI community. This community gathers all actors of BNP Paribas working on SRI and aims at having them work together to develop SRI. This is when she started to also look at impact investing.
She started her career in 2002 at BNP Paribas Securities Services where she was account manager for Anglo-saxon brokers on the French market.
Eleonore has lived in various countries and speaks fluent French, English, Dutch, Spanish, as well as some remains of German.
FLORENT BRONèS - CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER - BNP Paribas Wealth Management
At the age of 54, Florent has more than 28 years of experience in investment strategy specifically dedicated to global Equities.
In 1996, he joined BNP Paribas Equities as Head of investment strategy.
In 2003, Florent took over the sell-side research of BNP Paribas Equities and Derivatives. Most of his time is shared between defining the investment strategy and meeting internal and external clients.
In 2008, he managed the buy-side research department for Global Equities and Commodity Derivatives (GECD), focusing on investment strategy and financial markets.
In 2012, Florent joined BNP Paribas Wealth Management to bring his strong experience to Private Banking clients. Along with his Chief Investment Advisors network (CIA), Florent defines global investment strategy and specific areas of investments.
Florent Brones holds a PhD in International Finance Economics and a strong track record as both an economist and a strategist.
Sophie de la Chapelle - Head of Strategic Asset Allocation Advisory - BNP Paribas Wealth Management
Sophie joined BNP Paribas Wealth Management in 2005 as Head of Research and Development, working on various projects initiated by the Executive Committee which were focused on offering innovations. One of the key projects she led was the development of a customized strategic asset allocation advisory approach targeted at ultra-high net worth clients, and she is now Head of Strategic Asset Allocation Advisory.
Prior to that, Sophie was a Strategic Consultant for Bain & Company in Paris and Chicago for 7 years.
Sophie graduated from HEC Business School in 1997 and has a MSc In Finance from the London School of Economics. She speaks French, English and German. She is fond of the sea for swimming or sailing and loves interior design.
Thierry Derungs - Chief Digital Officer - BNP Paribas Wealth Management
Thierry Derungs is driven by passion: his family, work equity - white, black, male, female, young, old… "who cares when the job must be done, leadership, international collaboration and, of course, all things digital." He believes in human beings and their incredible power when they work together.
After more than 15 years at ING, Thierry Derungs joined BNP Paribas in 2009. Having successfully led a wide range of digital projects and programs for the past 20 years has given him a strong foundation in international management, strategic business planning and program management.
As Chief Digital Officer, he develops and oversees the Digital Strategy for Wealth Management. Whether implementing new web and mobile solutions for our clients, or making fundamental improvements to our employees’ digital work environment, he firmly believes that each and every initiative is an equally important step along the path to bring you our value.
Guillaume Duchesne - Head of Equity Strategy - BNP Paribas Wealth Management
Guillaume Duchesne is Head of Equity Strategy at BNP Paribas Wealth Management. More specifically, he oversees the development of our sectoral strategy. Guillaume also has expertise in emerging markets, and regularly publishes articles and reports on his investment recommendations.
Guillaume holds a doctorate in economics and a certificate in management from the Vlerick School (Belgium). After working as an assistant at university, he continued his career as an economist at ING Investment Management (ING IM) in Brussels. He was then promoted as Head of Investment Allocation at ING, and was in charge of internal and external Asset Management communication in France. In this role, he appeared regularly on Bloomberg TV and in the written media.
Guillaume then joined the private bank MeesPierson (Fortis Group) in Luxembourg, and subsequently in Geneva, where he was Head of Equity for the group.
Following the consolidation of Fortis bank and BNP Paribas Group at the end of 2009, Guillaume joined the investment strategy teams. He is currently based in Luxembourg.
Guy Ertz - Chief Investment Advisor - BGL BNP Paribas Wealth Management
Guy Ertz began his career in 1993 as research analyst at the economics department and business cycles centre of the catholic university of Louvain in Belgium. He joined the asset management of the Banque Générale du Luxembourg in 1999 as senior economist and was subsequently appointed head of investment strategy in 2001 and chief investment officer in 2002. In January 2004, he became in charge of the investment strategy for Fortis Private Banking at group level. Currently, he is Chief investment advisor for Wealth Management at BNP Paribas. He is also member of the international investment policy committee.
Guy finished his Ph.D. in economics at the catholic university of Louvain. He spent one year of his Ph.D. program at the University of Minnesota (United-States) thanks to a Fulbright scholarship. Guy lectures courses/seminars in economics and finance in several programs (Catholic University of Louvain, University of Luxembourg, BNP Paribas internal training programs and portfolio management trainings for clients). He published several research articles as well as press articles.
Gilles Flament - Head of Alternative Investments - BNP Paribas Wealth Management
Gilles joined BNP Paribas Wealth Management in 2006 to manage and develop the global Alternative Investment solutions.
He formerly worked at the General Inspection of BNP Paribas, an internal audit team reporting directly to the CEO of the group. During that period, Gilles audited different functions and subsidiaries of the group to assess the management of all kinds of risk: market, operational, business, human resources, IT, credit, compliance, financial, etc.
Gilles joined BNP Paribas in 1996. He spent 6 years in the Retail Banking business unit at different functions, the last being deputy head of the merchant and financing activities department of an 80000 customer-group. In 1996, he obtained a Master of Sciences in Management and Financial Engineering from Paris 12 University.
Roger Keller - Chief Investment Officer - BNP Paribas Wealth Management
Roger Keller is currently in charge of elaborating the strategy views on equities and commodities and of communicating all strategic ideas. He is a member of the Global Investment Strategy Committee.
Roger began his career in 1985 as a portfolio manager at Swiss Bank Corporation before joining Barclays Private Banking as an equity analyst and strategist. From 1995 to 2003, Roger was Head of Equities within United European Bank, while he also contributed to the elaboration of the investment strategy and was managing the UEB German Equity Fund from 2000 until 2003.
Roger joined BNP Paribas Private Banking in 2003 where he acted as Chief Strategist and Deputy CIO. From 2006-2008, Roger was Chief Strategist and Chief Asset Allocator at FundQuest International.
Roger Keller holds a degree from the University of Geneva in economic and social sciences, with a specialisation in finance.
Benoit Léchenault - Head of Agrifrance - BNP Paribas Wealth Management
At the age of 43, Benoît Léchenault has been the specialist in rural property transactions for BNP Paribas Wealth Management for over 10 years now. Farming estates, vineyards, forests and châteaux hold no secret for this expert, who spends much of his time in the field surveying and has a perfect knowledge of all the main regions in France – Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, Provence and the Centre.
Coming from an agricultural background, Benoît Léchenault graduated as an engineer in estate management and rural law. He then began his career in Alsace providing advisory and estate appraisal for professional clients in the rural sphere (major landowners, winegrowers, foresters and farmers).
In 1988, Benoît Léchenault joined Agrifrance, a company specialized in rural property advisory and transactions that already had a 40-year track record.
In the early 2000s, Agrifrance integrated the Private Banking arm of BNP Paribas Wealth Management. Benoît Léchenault has been the Head of Agrifrance since 2007. With a team of agricultural and viticultural engineers, he is constantly developing a complete range of specific services: audits, market opinions, wealth engineering and negotiations on behalf of Key Clients (Ultra high net worth individual).
Nathalie Osphare-Druilhe - Head of Structured Products and Derivatives - BNP Paribas Wealth Management
Nathalie Osphare-Druilhe has 20 years of expertise in financial markets and 15 years in management, having handled all types of clients (corporate, institutional and individuals) and managed teams up to 25 people.
This path has given her a strong foundation in financial products, team management, organization, strategic business planning, and in the apprehension of a multi-cultural environment.
As Head of Structured Products and Derivatives for BNP Paribas Wealth Management, her job is to propose an optimal and permanent offering of adapted solutions and services. In order to do that, she has to take into account the global and local constraints, needs and targets of her clients. At each step of the product built in open architecture we offer, with her team, she advises and guides our clients with transparency and compliance.
As a manager of a team of experts and mother of three lovely kids, she likes to transform complexity into simplicity in her day-to-day life.

Nathalie Sauvanet - Global Head of Individual Philanthropy - BNP Paribas Wealth Management
Nathalie Sauvanet joined BNP Paribas Wealth Management in October 2007 to set up its Individual Philanthropy Offering: creation of both a client-dedicated international Foundation & a Philanthropy Advisory Department. Till now, she and the dedicated team of experts, have helped more than 900 wealthy clients in their philanthropic strategy (foundations, social impact evaluation, beneficiary selection and due diligence, peer exchanges) in Europe (France, Belgium,Italy, Luxemburg, Monaco, Poland, Switzerland), Asia (Hong Kong, Singapore) and the US.
She got 20 years of experience, especially at European level, in the areas of corporate giving and individual philanthropy consultancy. She has been Coordinator of a European NGOs network and Deputy Managing Director of Admical (a French public utility organisation gathering corporate givers) in charge of European, Fiscal and Legal Issues, Training and Strategy, where she advised around 2,000 companies, set up around 70 corporate foundations and 30 employees’ involvement programmes.
She advised and designed workshops and training sessions for governments (Norway, Czech Republic, Argentina, France…), institutions (World Bank, Council of Europe…), companies and associations. She's a lecturer in Individual and Corporate Philanthropy at Universities and Business Schools, and various conferences in France and abroad.
Pol Robert Tansens - Head of Real Estate Investment Strategy - BNP Paribas Wealth Management
Pol Robert Tansens obtained a Master in Applied Economics at the University of Antwerp (Belgium) in 1985 and gained a second Master in Commercial Engineering with his thesis ‘Profitability of thermal insulation in detached houses’ at the same university in 1986.
He started his career as an economist at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations with positions held in Niger and Rome. He was subsequently employed by the Belgian Overseas Development Administration as a project manager/lecturer in Rwanda and Suriname.
Tansens joined Fortis Bank Belgium in Brussels in 1998. He was a senior equity analyst ‘Real Estate’ at Global Markets and was the Head of Strategy and Property Research of Fortis Private Real Estate (Private Banking) from 2004 till end 2009.
Tansens has been the Head of Real Estate Investment Strategy of BNP Paribas Wealth Management since early 2010, providing services to key clients with a substantial net worth.
Tansens is a visiting lecturer at the real estate programs of the Solvay Business School (Brussels), the Antwerp Management School (Antwerp) and the University of Luxembourg. He has published a wide range of research reports in the field of real estate. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors RICS, and has joined its Continental Europe Education Standards Board (CESB) since 1 June 2016. The CESB’s role is to set the standards for accredited real estate courses and membership assessment processes.
He is member of the Investment Committee of ImmoFinRe, a Luxembourg-based real estate private equity fund, invested in emerging markets.
Thierry Trigo - Head of Fixed Income Advisory - BNP Paribas Wealth Management
Thierry Trigo is currently Head of Fixed Income Advisory for Domestic Markets at BNP Paribas Wealth Management. Prior to that, he was Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management for BNP Paribas Wealth Management in Brussels, and worked as an investment, fixed income and money markets fund manager for BNP Paribas Asset Management.
Thierry is a graduate of the Institut des Techniques de Banque and the Institut des Techniques de Marché, and has lectured for the Master’s 2 Wealth Management programme at the ESCLA Paris business school.
Passionate about music (he plays piano and guitar), he also likes to restore old buildings himself.
