Euromoney Global Private Banking and Wealth Management Survey 2022

In the Euromoney Global Private Banking and Wealth Management Survey 2022 results, BNP Paribas Wealth Management maintained its position as a global leader with a top-notch service offering and strong local presence.

BNP Paribas Wealth Management keeps strong positions globally and locally and integrates the Top 5 for ESG/Sustainable investing globally. The results illustrate the excellence of its franchises in Europe with #1 overall positions in France and in Belgium.

“I warmly thank voters, partners and clients for this distinction obtained by BNP Paribas Private Banking in France in the Euromoney Awards 2022. This year, our French Private Banking expertise and quality advisory service were applauded in all client segments, including Millennials and High and Ultra High Net Worth Individuals. This demonstrates that our efforts to increasingly segment our approach to meet our clients' expectations as well as possible are bearing fruit. Furthermore, I am delighted that BNP Paribas Private Banking in France has secured its leading position in ESG/sustainable investing. Our overall success reflects our advances and the collective talent of our organisation. The international network, BNP Paribas Wealth Management, was also named “Best Private Bank in Belgium” thanks to BNP Paribas Fortis Private Banking. Sanitary conditions permitting, an award ceremony will be held in London in April.”

“I am very proud that BNP Paribas Fortis Private Banking & Wealth Management has been awarded ‘Best Private Bank in Belgium’ by Euromoney. This recognition, based on the opinion of our competitors in the financial industry, underlines our successful offering for our clients and strengthens us in our strategic directions. Above all, I am deeply grateful to all our teams for their excellent collaboration and their continuous commitment and would like to thank our clients for entrusting us as their long-term financial partner.”

In terms of Impact, the private bank also ranks #5 in the world and #2 for ESG/Sustainable Investing in Western Europe and #4 in APAC. Thanks to numerous initiatives in sustainable finance, including the rollout of a fully proprietary methodology to facilitate its clients’ adoption of sustainable investment solutions, it has improved its positions in ESG/Sustainable Investing across geographies: #1 in France, Belgium, Italy and Luxembourg; and in Philanthropic Advisory: #1 in Belgium and France and #2 in Luxembourg.

Finally, as we continue to focus on entrepreneurs and families (read 2021 Global Entrepreneur Report and the Nexus initiative), we achieved #1 ranking for Serving Business Owners in Belgium and France, #2 in Monaco as well as #4 in Germany, Hong Kong, Italy and Luxembourg.

“We are delighted with these rankings. I would like to thank my teams for their commitment and our clients for their trust.  Our ranking for Sustainable Investments is one that I am particularly proud of.  It reflects what our clients, through their investment and business decisions, are doing to positively impact our world. Furthermore, this has been a strategic priority for us for many years. When we combine our individual and collective expertise with our clients’ potential for impact, we can build a sustainable and harmonious future for all.”
