Single Family Office Forum – Singapore Edition 2019

Building on the success of Hong Kong edition in May, the BNP Paribas Wealth Management Single Family Office Forum took place in Singapore on 18 October.
The Forum convened over 60 Southeast Asia based professionals supporting Asian families for a day of learning and peer-to-peer networking. Participants discussed a wide range of topics covering investments, business and green financing.
Global Head of Key Client Group, Remi Frank, opened the Forum and welcomed delegates to a full day of passionate presentations and conversations on hot-button themes ranging from tech in China and real estate in Europe to private credit.
Dr Richard-Weidong Ji, Co-Founder and CIO of All Stars Investment, addressed the audience in a presentation titled ‘Whither China’s new economy champions’. Highlighting that innovation would fuel economic growth going forward, he encouraged investors to focus on the tech champions in the context of China. The investment selection process of his team was akin to that of selecting an ‘All Stars’ basketball team, he said.
