Conversational and personalised advice in Belgium

This award recognizes the prominent role of technology and digital communication in Private Banking in Belgium. The fact that we are a full digital conversational bank and offer personalised patrimonial advice by putting the client in control of his or her wealth situation all helped in being granted this award. Our digital client service has only grown with the introduction of PaxFamilia, MyGuide, MyExperts, #MyFuture and the new Easy Banking app. We are very proud of the excellent collaboration between our different departments and their achievements.

Yuri Bender, Editor of PWM and Wealth Tech Judge commented:

“The main difference between BNP Paribas Wealth Management and its competitors, according to the judging panel of PWM’s Wealth Tech Awards for 2022, is that the French bank’s apps and digital channels are co-designed with input from clients, many of them entrepreneurs. The judges were also impressed by the bank’s ability to secure access to private markets through digital channels, which will increasingly become an important competitive advantage. Mariam Rassai, who has been an influential figure in the wealth manager’s digital transformation, was chosen by our judges as the Best Digital Leader for 2022. The judges noted not only the many technological innovations she has overseen, but also the way she has encouraged buy-in for new ideas among advisers and how she has introduced an educational programme for these bankers. They praised her innovation at both local and global level, across a variety of disparate markets.”
