Torben Bumann has been in the equity market for nearly 23 years providing a high level of experience in the equity space. Working for bulge bracket firms, he held various roles in equity sales covering and advising international clients globally from hedge funds to institutional long only investors. He spent 7 years at Exane BNP Paribas in Frankfurt covering the German and Swiss client base prior to joining BNP Paribas Wealth Management in 2019.

Torben is responsible for equity selection for BNP Paribas Wealth Management International Markets sites (Switzerland, Germany, Luxemburg, Monaco and Dubai). Specifically, he is also responsible for the equity research for German and Swiss stocks within our coverage. Additionally, he works on thematics and dives deeper into the topics with actionable equity recommendations in Europe and the US. Selecting stocks as underlying baskets for Structured products certificates is also part of his repertoire as well as accompanying relationship managers and investment managers to client meetings. He is an integral contributor to internal equity committees spanning the global research network at BNP Paribas Wealth Management, and for BNP Paribas Wealth Management discretionary portfolio management (DPM) teams across Europe.

Torben holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Constance with majors in Portfolio Theory and Corporate Management.
